Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has been given an offer by Playboy boss Hugh Hefner to pose naked for the magazine, once she turns 18.
Hefner offered Cyrus, who had recently been in the limelight for posing topless for Vanity Fair, the chance to strip off completely for his legendary men’s magazine, but only when she reaches the legal age.
When the controversial Annie Leibovitz photos of her posing bare backed, wrapped only in a satin sheet emerged online, there was a lot of outrage, compelling the singer/actress to issue an apology.
Hefner, who believes that the whole incident has been blown out of proportion, stated that Cyrus would be “welcomed in the magazine”, and also slammed the uproar surrounding her poses for Vanity Fair.
“I think to make such a big to do over something as innocent as those photos, I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality,” The Sun quoted Hefner as saying.
