Were Miley Cyrus' new shower pics faked?

martes, 15 de julio de 2008 |

New raunchy pictures of Miley Cyrus posing in a shower have been leaked onto the internet, but there are claims that they could have been faked.

The photos show the 15-year-old star of hit US TV show Hannah Montana allegedly in the shower, wearing a long white see-through T-shirt.

In another image, Miley poses provocatively with her T-shirt tied tightly under her breasts, exposing her stomach as she pouts at the camera.

The new photographs have been posted on an internet forum, with the user claiming he was sent them by Nick Jonas, of US band The Jonas Brothers, who briefly dated Miley last year.

The internet user is also claiming he has more scandalous pictures of the multi-talented star, which he is now attempting to sell.

Some websites believed the photos were faked.

Miley, the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, is no stranger to controversy.

Earlier this year, a revealing picture of her taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz for the cover of Vanity Fair magazine showed the young star posing with just a blanket.

Following the controversial image, Miley released a statement saying: "I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.

"I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologise to my fans who I care so deeply about."

Less than a month later, new pictures of the actress were leaked onto the internet, showing her posing in a variety of risque photographs wearing lacy red underwear, after reportedly being taken from her MySpace account.

Miley Cyrus Is Big Hit With Prison Inmates

viernes, 20 de junio de 2008 |

Teen and tween sensation Miley Cyrus is becoming a big hit with the older generation, especially with prison inmates. Although the Hannah Montana star is not happy with the situation, the male prisoners are posting pictures of her Vanity Fair spread on their walls.

But the inmates are interested in her other provocative photos too, according to the National Ledger. Before the Vanity Fair magazine controversy, other pictures of the 15 year old star hit the Internet. One of these photos showed the young Cyurs lying across the lap of her then boyfriend. Another photo showed her pulling her top down to expose her green bra.

The Vanity Fair photos gave Cyrus her initial exposure, but other pictures have become popular too. She has been featured in lesbian kissing photos and has also been snapped snuggling up with several different boys, according to the Ledger report.

Since the Vanity Fair magazine release, other images showed up on the Internet. She is holding the camera up herself in these pictures. In two pictures she is seen pulling up her top with her teeth. Some question whether she is wearing panties in one of those pictures.

Star Magazine is reporting that she has a whole slew of incarcerated fans. To her chagrin, they have been sending her thousands of love letters. The inmates say they have taped her pictures to their cell walls.

One source said that the letters are not welcome. "It's really creeping Miley out," according to the source. "Both her parents always prayed for her success but never imagined that it would come to this."

Billy Ray Cyrus: I wasn’t there when the Vanity Fair pics were taken

miércoles, 18 de junio de 2008 |

Billy Ray Cyrus has confirmed he wasn’t on the set when the controversial Vanity Fair pictures were taken of his 15 year old daughter Miley Cyrus.

He told yesterday’s Today show: “I wasn’t there at the time [but Miley’s] publicist was there, and everyone seemed in control.

“I didn’t know they [were] gonna strip her down and wrap her with a blanket.

“So I was surprised when I saw it, you know, but … stuff happens. That’s life. Things happen and sometimes things get a little out of control and you just gotta deal with life. It’s peaks and valleys and ups and downs.”

He added that he still considers Annie Leibovitz a “good person and a great photographer” but wishes he had stayed around the chaperone the entire shoot.

Photo Of Miley Cyrus’ First Kiss Worth $150,000?

domingo, 1 de junio de 2008 |

Ever since Miley Cyrus’ popularity skyrockets in the world of the paparazzi, photos of the teen sensation have as well. What’s the most sought after photo of the 15-year-old? One of her first kiss.

The L.A. Times has reported that a photo of Cyrus’ first kiss could equal anywhere from $30,000 to $150,000 for the lucky paparazzi who snaps it.

Experts suspect her rise in popularity may be contributed, for the most part, to her recently published controversial photo spread for Vanity Fair.

“She’s started to sell more. Now the pictures are going for a higher price,” said François Navarre, of the X17. “It used to be $300 for a shot, and now it’s $2,000 for a picture. It has to be a nice picture. I have a couple of guys working on her. It’s not like Britney [Spears], where we have 24/7 coverage, but we are watching her. If she goes out of town, we try to follow her.”

Despite the hefty price tag, Defamer.com says they got the flix already. They have several pictures of her kissing both boys and girls … guess someone beat everybody to it, or maybe … just maybe … they were already out there. We think it’s the later.

Miley Cyrus almost quit over photo furore

lunes, 26 de mayo de 2008 |

Miley Cyrus came close to quitting showbusiness following the fuss surrounding her provocative Vanity Fair photos, according to her pal and 'Hannah Montana' co-star Anna Maria Perez de Tagle.

The actress, who plays Cyrus' sidekick Ashley on the hit kids TV show, admits she's had to boost her friend during recent phonecalls - because the teen sensation is so downbeat of late.

The 15-year-old was forced to apologise to fans when a shot of her wrapped in a bedsheet appeared as part of a Vanity Fair photospread, upsetting family groups and parents across America.

Perez de Tagle admits the whole controversy has been tough on her friend.

She says: "Sometimes I'll talk to her on the phone and she'll be like: 'It's really hard' or: 'I'm really tired. I can't do this.'

"I'll always say: 'You do want to do this. You love your job.' It (photo row) really hurt her. She didn't know that people would look at it like that."

Miley Cyrus’s Racy Internet Photos: Round Three

domingo, 25 de mayo de 2008 |

So let’s make this clear. Even though Miley Cyrus has already issued a statement about her regrettable photos, should that same apology apply to pics still coming out?

Surprisingly, someone out there has been holding back on the internet community. While I thought we’d seen everything Cyrus-related by now, apparently there is a shoebox full of self-portraits still waiting to be released. Unfortunately, the latest two photos to hit the web really don’t show any originality.

C’mon, Miley. You must have had a thousand publicity photos taken of you by now. Don’t you have any more original poses in your repertoire? How many ways can you show off your underwear?

Miley Cyrus at centre of candy controversy

martes, 20 de mayo de 2008 |

Miley Cyrus has become the focus of yet another controversy, after a photo agency filed suit against her Disney bosses for copyright infringement in relation to a range of Hannah Montana - branded candies - which feature her face on the packaging.

Bosses at Oklahoma-based company Glamour Shots claim the Hannah Montana Glamour Shots Candy, placed on Disney store shelves, misleads buyers into believing the photo agency made the treats.

The candy is packaged in a small picture frame with Cyrus featured inside.

In court documents obtained by website TMZ.com, Glamour Shots executives have also accused Disney of false advertising and unfair competition, and are requesting the case to go to trial to determine damages.

A spokesperson for Disney declined to comment on the suit. Cyrus, 15, has become the subject of various debates since her pop star image was tarnished by the release of 'sexy' images from a controversial photoshoot with Annie Leibovitz for June's edition of Vanity Fair magazine.

Hillary Clinton Weighs In On Miley Cyrus Photo Controversy

lunes, 5 de mayo de 2008 |

Tomorrow are the crucial Indiana and North Carolina primaries that could make or break Hillary Clinton’s campaign. But today, in an Access Exclusive, she tackles the tough ones, like the Miley Cyrus photo controversy.

“From everything I’ve heard she’s a great kid and obviously very talented, but I think we need to do more to preserve our kids’ childhood,” Clinton said.

The presidential hopeful said she feels it is the parents’ responsibility to protect a child.

“They grow up so fast and [there are] so many influences coming from all directions these days,” Clinton said. “I think it’s important that all of us as parents draw some lines here.”

For the mother of a young woman, Clinton can relate to dealing with the tough topics. She sees the Miley mess as an opportunity to teach.

“As they’re teens you have to be ready to talk to them. Be ready for those teachable moments — [they] don’t always come when you want them to,” she said.

In related news, with the primaries just hours away, Clinton will attempt to appeal to young fans before tomorrow’s big vote, via an appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” presenting a special top ten.

“It’s about 10 things I love about about America,” she said. “It’s always funny. It’s always a lot of fun. I really enjoy being on Dave’s show.”

But while Clinton appreciates the importance of pop culture in this election, she does have a confession about her recent movie-going.

“I love to go to movies with my husband,” she said. “[I] did see a movie about a month, month and a half ago and I’m trying to remember what it was because I fell asleep. Isn’t that terrible?”

Miley Cyrus says Vanity Fair photo spread embarrasses her

martes, 29 de abril de 2008 |

Miley Cyrus is taking issue with a photo of herself that's going around, and it's not another amateur, truth-or-dare Internet snapshot — it's the handiwork of Annie Leibovitz.

"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," Cyrus said Sunday in a statement through her publicist. "I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about."

The photos, appearing in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair, were taken by Leibovitz, a renowned celebrity photographer whose edgy, silver-toned portraits have included subjects such as Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson and a naked, pregnant Demi Moore.

"I'm sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted," Leibovitz said in a statement released by Vanity Fair. "Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful."

The Cyrus pictures accompany an interview with the 15-year-old pop star and her father, singer Billy Ray Cyrus. One photo in particular is causing the biggest stir: the teen idol is wrapped in what appears to be a satin bedsheet, looking over her shoulder with her back exposed.

The Disney Channel, which airs Cyrus' TV show "Hannah Montana," was also critical of Vanity Fair.

"Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines," a network statement said.

Vanity Fair defended the story and photo shoot in a statement of its own.

"Miley's parents and/or minders were on the set all day," the magazine said. "Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley."

In a caption released by Vanity Fair with the photo, Cyrus expressed her comfort with how the apparently topless picture turned out.

"I think it's really artsy," she told the magazine at the time. "It wasn't in a skanky way. Annie took, like, a beautiful shot, and I thought that was really cool. That's what she wanted me to do, and you can't say no to Annie."

A handful of borderline racy snapshots of a girl who appeared to be Cyrus have appeared on the Internet in recent months, including images of a girl posing in her underwear and bikini last week. In one shot, she's draped over a young man.

Cyrus is one of the biggest — and most G-rated — acts in the country and is often considered a role model for young girls. Her "Best of Both Worlds" tour sold out arenas, and her successful 3-D concert film collected $31.3 million in its opening weekend in February.

Miley Cyrus Topless Photos: Nude Magazine Cover Pictures?

domingo, 27 de abril de 2008 |

Is there really going to be a topless photo of Miley Cyrus now unveiled? There are now reports that the star of Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus, will be set for a nude cover shot for a magazine. Miley is only fifteen years old and the cover shot that is going all over the World Wide Web keeps all of her private parts covered and it could easily be a hoax.

The photo that is circulating shows the singer and actress on what would appear to be a grab from a high definition television in freeze frame from a promo spot. It could easily be a hoax and the photo might be doctored but it shows the a photo of Miley and she appears to have nothing on at all. On the bottom of the photo a logo says "ET Monday" and the cover is supposedly from Vanity Fair.

When you visit the ET Online and Vanity Fair websites there is no mention of the photo shoot or the cover shot that is floating around the web. If it is real it will spark massive controversy. It will be easy for many to believe because of the many racy photos that have leaked of Miley Cyrus of late. She has had several pictures posted of her online and they have ranged from lesbian like kissing photos to pictures of Miley in her underwear.

The latest snaps showed Miley pulling away her top to flash her bra and show her rolling around and canoodling with a guy that looks quite a bit older than her with both snuggling together. If this latest Miley Cyrus photo is real, Hollywire has it and it will bring in everyone to comment. But keep in mind, this could easily be a hoax.

jueves, 24 de abril de 2008 |

Brenda Song has defended her fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus. The 20-year-old ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’ star says that Cryus is a “strong” person and has a right to her “personal life.”

The outpouring of support from Cyrus’ friends comes after racy pictures of the 15-year-old hit the internet. In one of the photos the ‘Hannah Montana’ star was laying with a boy with her shirt pulled up to reveal her stomach. In another she is pulling down the front of her tank top to reveal a lime green bra.
